How do I enter the competition? | Every $1 you spend at theoodie.com during the promotion period gives you 1 entry into the draw. You can also score free and bonus entries by opting into our Email and SMS updates, following us on Socials, sharing our posts, referring friends and participating in our promotion events throughout October and November. |

When does the competition run? | The promotion starts on 1 October 2025 at 9:00am AEDT and closes on 1 December 2025 at 11:55pm AEDT. Entries outside of this window will not be counted. |
What’s the prize? | One very lucky winner will take home $50,000 in cash; you can put this towards your dream holiday or spend it however you like! Plus, during the promotion, 15 entrants will each win a $50 Oodie gift card in our special daily prize draws |
How will the winner be chosen? | The winner will be selected by an independent, random electronic draw on 2 December 2025. The draw is completely at random and conducted by an independent scrutineer using a certified system (randomdraws.com.au). All entrants have a chance of winning |
How will I know if I’ve won? | We’ll contact the winner directly by email no later than 2 December 2025. We’ll also publish the winner’s first name, initial of their last name, and postcode on our official page by 5 December 2025. |
What time zone does the promotion use? | All promotion dates and times are listed in AEDT (Sydney Time). Make sure to keep this in mind if you are in another time zone across Australia! |
Are there any other prizes apart from the $50,000? | Yes! Alongside the $50,000 major cash prize, we’ll also be giving away 15 x Oodie Gift Cards. These will be drawn daily between 10 and 14 November 2025, with winners notified via email within 2 business days of the relevant draw via email. |
What if the winner doesn’t claim their prize? | If the prize is not claimed, we’ll redraw on 2 March 2026, and will announce the new winner by 5 March 2026. |
Is there a limit to how many times I can enter? | Nope! There’s no cap on entries - the more you shop at theoodie.com, and participate in our other promotion events, the more entries you can stack up! |
How do the bonus entry activities work? | Throughout the promotion, we’ll run fun extra challenges to give you bonus entries. Keep an eye out for our Emails, SMS messages and Social posts for all the latest activities! |
Do Gift Card purchases count for entries? | Yes - both buying and redeeming Oodie Gift Cards during the promo period will count as eligible entries. |
Do delivery charges count towards entries? | No - entries are calculated on the product value only. Delivery or Shipping Protection fees don’t generate entries. |
Can I check how many entries I have? | Yes, you’ll be able to see your entry totals during the promotion. |
I don’t live in Australia - can I enter? | This promotion is only open to Australian residents. |
What happens if my order is cancelled or refunded? | If you cancel your order, or your order is refunded in full, the associated entries will also be cancelled, since the purchase is no longer valid. For exchanges, entries are only awarded on the original paid order, not the replacement item. |

Do I have to spend the money on a holiday? | No, not at all! While we love the idea of a dream holiday, the prize is paid in cash and can be spent however you like. |
What if I change my email or phone number after entering? | It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date. If your details change during the promotion, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected], so we can make sure your details are correct and up to date. |
Will my name and details be made public if I win? | Yes - however we will only publish your first name, initial of your last name, and your post code. By entering, you agree that if you do win, we may publish your first name, last initial, and post code. We may also request a photo for promotional purposes. This is a condition of entry. |
Do I need to be present for the draw? | No, the winner will be drawn electronically at random and contacted directly by The Oodie. You don’t need to be present for the draw to be eligible win. |
Can I transfer the prize to someone else? | No - the prize isn’t transferable or exchangeable. The prize will only be awarded to the confirmed winner. |
What if I can’t claim the prize straight away? | The winner must claim their prize by 27 February 2026. If the prize is not claimed, a random unclaimed prize draw will occur on 2 March 2026 with the winner notified via email the same day. |
What if the winner is found to be ineligible? | If the drawn winner doesn’t meet the eligibility requirements (e.g. not an Australian resident, under 18, or works for The Oodie), the prize will be redrawn. |
Can I remove myself from the competition after I’ve entered? | Yes, if you’d prefer not to be part of the promotion, you can withdraw all your entries at any time. Just email us at [email protected] and let us know you’d like to be removed. |
What if I unsubscribe from emails and SMS after opting in? | Don’t worry! Once your bonus entries are recorded, they stay valid even if you later unsubscribe. You’ll still be notified if you are a winner via a transactional email, even if you’ve opted out of marketing messages. |
Do taxes apply if I win? | There may be tax implications depending on the winners' personal circumstances. We recommend seeking independent financial advice to understand if this applies to you. Please note that The Oodie cannot provide tax advice and does not accept responsibility for any personal tax obligations arising from the prize. |
What happens if there are technical issues with my entry? | We’re not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries caused by internet issues, user error or technical glitches. If you’ve completed the entry steps, your valid entries will still be counted. |
Can I submit photos/videos/content as part of entry activities? Who owns them? | Yes, some bonus activities do involve uploading photos. By entering, you grant The Oodie permission to use that content for marketing without needing further approval. |
Can The Oodie cancel or change the promotion? | In very rare circumstances, we may need to change or cancel the promotion. But don’t worry, all prize draws will still be carried out in line with regulations. |
